Dance plans on attending Morgan State University to major in Architecture and has goals of developing group homes for foster children in Maryland! Our scholarship committee says, “We chose Dance as the scholarship recipient because she has already taken steps towards her career goal as a group home developer by working on chartering a branch of her aunt’s nonprofit organization to be located in Maryland. She has also demonstrated impressive community service hand-delivering food, toiletries, and household items to low-income families.”
